C.A.T. Science Accelerator for startups in science (2018-2022)

The first accelerator in Uzbekistan for startups in science and commercialization of scientific research.

We connect scientists with business, help scientists attract people from marketing and finance to their teams, get investments and launch a startup. Acceleration program is designed for 6 months. Accelerator finalists submit a business plan for a startup competition, within the framework of the grant fund of the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.

The accelerator is being implemented jointly with the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan.

Accelerator sectors:

❇️ diagnostics and biomedicine;
❇️ alternative sources of energy;
❇️ new materials;
❇️ IT and digital technologies in science;
❇️ food technologies.

Accelerator provides:

✅ access to the laboratories and factilities of the Center for Advanced Technologies and InnoTechnopark;
✅ mentors support;
✅ certificate;
✅ investments.

Our startups also participated in the international workshop Global Innovation through Science & Technology (GIST) On Demand Bootcamp and Innovation Hub (iHub), in the international competition of “green” startups ClimateLaunchpad, and in workshops and mentoring sessions of Central Asia Women in Tech & Science Week- 2019.

StartupFactory organizes the work of the accelerator (methodology, curriculum, involvement of trainers and mentors, IT platform for tracking startups), organization of the Ideation event and Demo Day of the accelerator.
