Accelerator for IT startups, StartupFactory (2015-2016)

Our first experience in organizing a startup accelerator for IT projects in 2015. StartupFactory became the first private startup accelerator in Uzbekistan.

For the first time in Uzbekistan, we developed an acceleration program curriculum, attracted mentors and trainers for workshops, and met with startups daily for 3 months.

5 projects of the first accelerator made it to Demo Day. One of the founders registered and opened a company. In the second set of the accelerator, we worked with 6 startups.

In acceleration program there were

• Lean Startup;
• Customer Development;
• Business Model Canvas;
• Legal consultation;
• Consultations on finance and taxes;
• Consultations on accounting;
• Marketing and sales consultations;
• Preparation for negotiations with investors.

We also ran an idea incubation program, IdeaLab, for early-stage IT startups. 14 startups participated in this program.

It was an interesting and rewarding experience!
